Race Pack

10-piece race kit No maltodextrin No rice syrup Made in San Francisco

Ten pieces, in the order you’ll need them.

Most variety packs are a bag of flavours. The Race Pack is a fuelling plan — real-food gels, two hydration mixes and a pre-race meal, chosen and sequenced for up to three hours of racing.

The sequence

This isn’t a random assortment.

The pack is built around a fuelling timeline: light and fast-absorbing early, complex carbs through the middle, calorie-dense fuel with caffeine when it starts to hurt.

Pre-race

Load before the gun

The Oat Pineapple Endurance Meal is the heaviest thing in the pack and the only one meant to be eaten before you start. Oats and maple syrup, 310 calories.

Oat Pineapple Endurance Meal ×1 · 310 cal

Early

Start light and fast-absorbing

Canaberry opens the pack. Light, quick to absorb, with naturally occurring caffeine from guarana rather than a dose that spikes.

Build

Move to steady complex carbs

Awesome Sauce carries the middle — basmati rice and maple syrup, the flavour most people know Spring for. Hydration mixes go in alongside, not instead.

Awesome Sauce Gel ×2 · 180 cal eachWatermelon Mint Hydration ×1Honey Lemongrass Hydration ×1

Second half

Calorie-dense fuel, caffeine on board

Speednut is the biggest gel in the pack — nuts and fat for slow-burning calories — and Hill Aid tops up the climb. This is where the 130 mg of caffeine sits, deliberately, so there’s nothing to crash from at the front.

Why it sits differently

Same job. Completely different build.

Conventional gels lean on maltodextrin and refined syrups. They work — until the hour your gut decides it has had enough of them.

Questions

Before you buy.

Why do conventional gels upset my stomach?
Most rely on maltodextrin and refined syrups delivered in a concentrated dose. Under race intensity, with blood diverted away from the gut, that combination is what a lot of athletes find they stop tolerating. Spring builds its carbohydrate from whole foods instead — basmati rice, maple syrup, honey, real fruit, oats, nuts and avocado oil.
How long does the Race Pack actually cover?
It is built for up to three hours of racing, plus the pre-race meal. That maps to a marathon, a half, a standard-distance triathlon or a gran fondo. For ultra distances you would carry more.
Where is the caffeine, and how much?
130 mg in total, from natural sources. It sits in three pieces — Hill Aid at 30 mg and two Speednut gels at 50 mg each — all of them intended for the middle and back half. Canaberry carries naturally occurring caffeine from guarana. Nothing in the pack front-loads it.
Do I have to follow the sequence?
No. It is the order the pack was designed around and the one we would start from, but the pieces work on their own. A detailed timing guide is included with the pack.
Is it vegan?
Not entirely — several pieces contain honey, which makes them vegetarian rather than vegan. Individual product pages carry the full ingredient list for each item.
